Steam Punk Bracelet

Traditionally, steampunk designs are base metal colors with much tarnish or oxidation mixed with found objects of mechanical or steam-powered themes. Clock parts, keys, gears, nuts, bolts and chain are mixed with filigree, flowers, birds, and imagery from the Victorian to the Industrial Revolution. Steampunk can use heavy, dark colors and yet look delicately feminine. Think Jules Verne and HG Wells meets Edward Scissorhands. The current culture of recycled and repurposed goods makes this the perfect way to use up your old bits and pieces!

Supply List: I encourage students to bring leftover bits and pieces from their own stash. Small lengths of chain can be combined. Vintage clasps and findings make great charms! Supplies will be available for purchase for $10.
